    “Nur (noch) ein Supermarkt, also Monopol, Preise dementsprechend. Für bessere Einkaufsmöglichkeit muss man 11 km fahren, wer essbares Brot will, muss sonntags auf den Markt in Teguise. (ca. 30 km.) Orzola hat 300 Einwohner und ist ein reiner Fähranleger, d.h. wenn der Fährbetrieb nach La Graciosa endet, machen die Restaurants in der Mehrzahl zu. Danach besteht das Ortsleben nur noch aus Menschen, die mit ihrem Hund gassigehen. Orzola macht den Eindruck, als hätte es schon mal bessere Zeiten gesehen. Der Gastronomiebetrieb wurde auch wohl vom Anlegerort auf La Graciosa erfolgreich abspenstig gemacht. Busanbindung nach Arrecife immerhin besser als in Norddeutschland auf dem Lande.”
