    “In der Ferienanlage selbst gibt es es zwar 3 kleine Pools, dort waren wir aber nie mit unseren Kindern sondern sind lieber ans Meer ( insbesondere nördlich von Praia der Mira) gefahren. Zum Einkauf gibt es leider keine Möglichkeit in der Ferienanlage (schade) so dass zum Frühstück immer in der Ort ca. 3 km gefahren werden muss, dort aber Top Bäckerei gefunden. Praia de Mira ist ein insgesamt nettes Ferien(klein)städchen mit nettem See in der Ortsmitte, breitem, leicht steil abfallendem Strand, ansonsten aber der Charme durchschnittlich. Ausflug nach Porto ( ca. 120km lohnt sich)”

    “Die Lage in der Siedlung ist ruhig, allerdings gibt es lediglich zwei kleine Cafés. Für alle anderen Wünsche muss man mindestens 3 km fahren (Praia de Mira). Aus diesem Grund empfiehlt es sich sehr, Fahrräder mitzunehmen oder vor Ort zu mieten (60 €/Woche, Verleih in der Siedlung). Zum Strand in Praia de Mira sind es ebenfalls 3-4 km. Während der Hochsaison ist das Parken tagsüber schwierig, auch hier sind Fahrräder sinnvoll. Ansonsten gibt es in Praia de Mira zahlreiche gute Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der nächste größere Supermarkt ist in Mira (ca. 7 km). Grundlegende Sprachkenntnisse sind von Vorteil, nur die jüngeren sprechen Englisch. Auf jeden Fall ein Wörterbuch mitnehmen!”
