    “Chinon ist ein wunderschöner mittelalterlicher Ort, in den man sich nur verlieben kann. Nur 1 Minute von der Wohnung gibt es einen Bäcker. Wir haben es geliebt ganz viele Restaurants der Stadt auszuprobieren und können besonders empfehlen, einmal bei Dédé Le Boulange vorbeizuschauen. Als Highlights unserer Ausflüge sind neben den zauberhaften Schlössern, der Zoo Beaulac, ein Besuch in einer Champignonhöhle und die Fahrt auf einem Velorail.”

    “Het is slechts een klein stuk naar het centrum van Chinon met smalle straatjes en de opgang naar het fort dat gedeeltelijk is gerestaureerd. Het uitzicht vanaf het fort over de wijngaarden en de rivier de Vienne is prachtig. Zeker een bezoek waard. In het centrum zijn een flink aantal restaurants en bars waar het prima vertoeven is. Dichtbij het complex is een bakker en iets verderop een Aldi. Op 4 kilometer is een winkelcentrum.
    Chinon is een prima uitvalsbasis om de prachtige omgeving met de steden Saumur en Tours en de vele kastelen te verkennen.”
