    “Bakar hat mit Sicherheit seinen gewissen Scharm. Für Familien mit Kindern die gerne schwimmen gehen möchten wird hier leider nichts angeboten, der nächste schöne Strand (die Touristeninfo empfiehlt das baden in Bakar auch nicht) ist ca. 7 km weiter in Kostrena (immer genügend Münzen vorhalten alle Parkplätze sind kostenpflichtig). Auch wer gerne an einer abendlichen Standpromenade mit verschieden Andenkenläden interesiert ist wird hier nicht sehr glücklich werden. Der kleine Hafen bittet hier nur vier Gaststätten wo man durchaus gut essen kann. Insgesamt gesehen kann man in Bakar günstig wohnen, sowie man etwas erleben möchte muss man immer wieder fahren.”

    “Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren in Bakar sehr beschränkt aber mit einem Auto waren die 12 km nach Rijeka ein Katzensprung.
    Gastronomie hielt sich überschaubar in Grenzen, sowie ebenfalls die Sport und Freizeitangebote durch den sehr kleinen Strand da Bakar eher ein Industriehafen ist.”
