If you have always dreamt of a typical holiday on the North Sea coast in East Frisia then this is the right place for you. Your accommodation is in Dornum/Nesse on the outskirts of town. A holiday on Mühlenhof is ideal for families with children and pets, which are welcome.

The idyllic site features a heritage-protected mill built in 1856, as well as two further buildings with a total of seven holiday apartments. The whole complex was renovated at the beginning of 2014 and the apartments were newly furnished. The site is enclosed by irrigation channels.

The generous site includes a mill pond, playing areas for children, lawns, park areas and animal enclosures. There are plenty of parking spaces on site. The site and the holiday apartments are away from tourist hubs, so you can find peace and quiet in the beautiful East Frisian landscape.

The beach, the North Sea, well-known coastal resorts or trip destinations are easy to get to by car or by bicycle within a short space of time.

Holiday apartment on the ground floor for two people

Welcome to your holiday accommodation on the ground floor. The 55m² apartment has a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. You can relax on the sofa in the living room, watch satellite TV (incl.radio) or enjoy meals at the dining table with four chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a kettle, coffee machine, hand mixer, stove, oven, toaster, fridge, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed with two individual mattresses. You can store your clothing in the wardrobe. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, WC and washbasin. Children’s beds and highchairs can be booked in addition free of charge. Children up to six years old stay free of charge. Please note that the fireplace cannot be used. There is central heating with radiators in all the rooms.

Enjoy the sunshine and the shared terrace. You can bring your pets, as there is plenty of space.

    “Eigendlich eine super Anlage die zum Urlaub machen einladen würde wenn alles ein bißchen mehr auf Ordnung und Sauberkeit getrimmt wäre... eigentlich sehr schade weil Potenzial hat der Hof auf jeden fall. Positiv: Nette vermieter die auch auf dem Hof wohnten. Der Brötchen Service am Morgen war auch ok Negativ: Die Einrichtung war ziemlich veraltet ,schmuddelig und zum Großteil reperaturbedürftig ,kein Wlan , was heutzutage standart sein sollte. Fast keine möglichkeit bei gutem Wetter draußen zu sitzen,ohne nachfragen zu müssen ob man Bestuhlung und Tisch etc.bekommen könnte. Rund um den Hof war alles sehr runtergerockt , keine gartenpflege , spielplatz für kinder nicht mehr erkennbar,weil alles voller Unrat lag. Ich könnte auch noch mehr schreiben aber ich denke das reicht schon als Bewertung. Restaurant: Chicken und chips in westerholt - Gute Küche für jedermann und guter lieferservice Ausflüge: Neuharlingersiel - Viele lokale und sehr schöner Hafen”

    Sehr netter Empfang, Wohnungstür aufgeschlossen und wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt...Rustikal, trotzdem super angenehm...
    Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und stets präsent...Hier sind Hunde (wir haben 3) wirklich willkommen...

    “Es ist sauber und ordentlich, dennoch gibt es in manchen Ecken Spinnennetze. Die Möbel sind in die Jahre gekommen.
    In der Küche gibt es absolut nichts an Salz und Pfeffer, wäre schön, wenn dies in der Beschreibung stünde.
    Gesprungene Fliesen im Bad, Löcher unterhalb der Duschwanne, wo ganze Fliesen fehlen und Sockelleisten die in der Küche einfach abfallen. Die Klospülung ist launenhaft. Das Fenster im Bad kann man durch den Buschbewuchs kaum öffnen. Die ganzen Tiere die da drinne wohnen kommen direkt mit rein. Keine Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern.
    Die Stockbetten absolut nur für Kinder geeignet. Für 2 Erwachsene absolut ungeeignet.

    Gut war die Nähe zum Strand/ Hundestrand. Der Auslauf ist auch super. Brötchendienst war nett, aber Aufbackbrötchen kann man sich auch selber kaufen.
    Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft in die Jahre gekommen und es bedarf einer Renovierung.

    Denke daher ist das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr angebracht.”

    “Nette Unterkunft, müsste einiges renoviert werden. Aber wirklich netter Vermieter und alles gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Positiv: Der nette Umgang vor Ort. Negativ: Einiges hat vor Ort gefehlt. Z.B. kein WLAN im Haus, obwohl es angegeben war. Restaurant: Asia Pham - Leckeres vietnamesisches Restaurant in Dornum Ausflüge: Bensersiel - Netter Strand”

    “Positiv: Die Nähe zum Strand Neßmersiel und die ruhige Umgebung. Restaurant: Zum alten Siel - Essen war sehr gut. Ausflüge: Seehundstation Norddeich - Ein Ausflug, den wir jedes Mal machen, wenn wir an der Küste sind, weil es einfach wunderschön ist, die Tiere und die Arbeit anzusehen.”
