The charming detached cottage, named Le Petit Bois, is ideally located for a relaxing holiday amidst tranquil surroundings. It has been carefully converted in keeping with the original style and lovingly furnished to provide a cosy ambience. The living room includes a wood-burning stove, as well as patio doors which lead to the conservatory. The conservatory takes you to the enclosed garden with small, above-ground swimming pool and an outdoor dining area. The garden enjoys lovely views of the surrounding woods and meadows. Just a short drive away is Loudeac Forest and to the north is the beautiful village of Moncontour. A 45-minute drive takes you to the long sandy beaches of Val-André and Pornic, perfect for a day trip with your children.

    “Het huis was ruimer dan verwacht en erg aangenaam. Rustig gelegen, maar toch ben je snel in het centrum om boodschappen te doen. Je hebt veel privacy en het zwembad is sowieso verwarmd zonder meerkost. Erg leuk is ook het welkomstpakket aangeboden door de eigenaars. De wintertuin is een topper voor de toch wel frissere avonden in Bretagne. Het huis was heel netjes ook.
    Enige minpuntje was dat er niet zo veel keukengerei was. Hoewel er een erg mooie, ruime keuken is, waren de meeste kasten leeg, en er waren maar een beperkt aantal glazen en borden. We waren slecht met 3 en hadden het gevoel dat er niet genoeg was, ik kan me voorstellen als je met 6 bent, dat het vervelend is.
    Pluspunt was het uitgebreide, persoonlijke advies van de eigenaars over wat je in de buurt allemaal kan doen, tips voor goede restaurants e.d.m.”
