This holiday house, which is adjacent to the main house from the 19th century, is in a rural location in a quiet hamlet, accessed along a small road with little traffic. Comfortably furnished holiday house in a quiet, rural location near the sea, especially suitable for families with children
The two-storey holiday house provides around 45m² of living space. The ground floor has a cosy living room with an open kitchen. The living room provides a sofa, two armchairs, a flatscreen TV, a DVD player and a radio. There is also a dining table for up to four people. The open kitchen is equipped with a gas stove with an oven, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster and a sink. The bathroom, also on the ground floor, has a washbasin, shower, WC and washing machine. There are two bedrooms on the upper floor. The parents’ bedroom has a double bed with two bedside tables, a dresser and an armchair. The children’s bedroom has two single beds, a bedside table and a dresser. There is a wardrobe next to the stairwell upstairs.
The main entrance to the house with a little courtyard is on the north side of the house, where there is also a private parking space. There is also a 1000m² lawn on the northern side. On the southern side of the house you can find a terrace with a table and four chairs, a grill, a parasol, a seesaw and a slide for children (maximum weight 30kg). There is also a 4000m² park with an abundance of mature trees on the southern side of the house.
The owner lives on site. The beds are already made on arrival. For families with a toddler, the owner can provide a baby bath, a highchair, and a booster seat to put on chairs. Therefore this holiday house is especially suited to families with children.
The holiday house is about 1.7km from the village of Besneville, where you can find a small grocery shop which also offers a diverse selection of bread. The little town of Portbail by the sea is about 8km from the house. There you can find various shops and services. There is a fine sandy beach about 10km from the holiday house. Owing to the ideal location in rural Cotentin very close to the sea, this holiday house is convenient for a range of trips: abbeys, museums, manor houses and castles, the coast with walking paths, sandy and pebbled beaches, the Channel islands, the famous landing beaches, harbours, the towns of Granville and Cherbourg, as well as the famous Mont Saint Michel.
