The most famous monument testifying to this glorious and turbulent past is the Nehaj Tower, built in the 16th century to defend against the Turks and Venetians. Among the cultural events that testify to the rich culture and tradition of which the inhabitants of this region are extremely proud, there are certainly the international carnivals that take place in winter and summer.
