Welcome to this cosy holiday home, located on the nature reserve of Valön, south of Hamburgsund. This is the perfect holiday home for nature lovers! Set on a mountain, the cottage has a beautiful view of the sea. It features two small terraces , one of which is roofed. The rent includes a rowing boat and a boat motor. The cottage is small but cosy, featuring a sofa bed for two in the living room and a bunk bed in the alcove. The size of the bunk bed is 195x80 cm, perfekt for kids! The small kitchen features the necessities and there's a freezer outdoors. The bathroom is accessed from the outside of the cottage, it has a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. Below the house you will find a bathing spot with a bathing dock. You will be living in the beautiful nature reserve of Valön where you can admire nature, go for long walks, and spot wild animals. Hamburgsund is the closest town, 9 kilometres away. Bovallstrand is 10 kilometres away. Both towns offer shops and restaurants. If you want to visit Norway, it's just a one hour-drive to Halden, and another hour from there to Oslo. A rowing boat is included in the rent. A boat engine can be pre-ordered and costs SEK 1,200. Welcome to Valön!

    “Das Häuschen ist sehr funktional und durchdacht ausgestattet. Allerdings bräuchte es mal wieder eine Renovierung und Grundreinigung. Im Bad war das Fenster kaputt und ließ sich nicht mehr schließen, in der Dusche bröckeln die Fugen heraus und der Toaster löste zweimal den Rauchmelder aus, weil er nicht mehr richtig funktioniert. Wir haben Wasser gekauft, da das Wasser aus dem Hahn eine merkwürdige Braunfärbung hatte. Das alles störte aber eigentlich nur, weil wir ein paar Regentage hatten und uns dadurch länger in der Unterkunft aufgehalten haben...”

    “Die Ausstattung war in Ordnung und der Blick auf die Bucht wunderschön und die Ruhe ebenfalls. Allerdings ist der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Haus "abenteuerlich". Denn mit Gepäck über eine Art Geröllhalde zu laufen und dabei immer aufpassen, nicht umzuknicken oder ähnliches, war schon eine Herausforderung. Für sehr kleine Kinder und ältere nicht trittsichere Feriengäste nicht geeignet.”

    “Wunderschöne Lage mit traumhaftem Meeresblick von der Terrasse und über die ganze Bucht von der Aussichtsbank aus. Zum Strand/Baden nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß den Pfad hinunter. Direkt vom Haus aus geht es hinein in die Felsenlandschaft der Halbinsel (Naturschutzgebiet) und zu Fuß über verschiedene Pfade zu herrlichen Aussichtsplätzen und ans Meer. Schöne Wanderungen möglich! Vom Parkplatz geht man einige Schritte über einen Felsenpfad bis zum Haus, also nicht so geeignet für Rollstuhlfahrer. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Min. in Hamburgsund mit genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants (Topp-Tipp: Mittagslunch im örtlichen Fischladen!) und Cafés. Unzählige Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in herrlicher Westküstenlandschaft und ein tolles Boot mit Motor.”
