Apartment in a historic building in the old center of Siena

This flat is located in the full center of Siena, just 10 metres from Piazza del Campo and 15 from Piazza del Duomo. It is at the ground floor of an ancient XIII century palace.

Guests can enjoy a private garden equipped with tables, chairs and umbrellas. The owner lives at the upper floor of the same building.

The apartment consists of a comfortable, very characteristic sitting-room with arches and fireplace, equipped with a large sofa, armchairs, table and books to read. The first bedroom is a double/triple room, viewing into private garden, equipped with a queen bed and, if necessary, also a single bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, table, and a little table with cable TV. The first bathroom is ensuite with this bedroom provided with wc, basin with cabinet and mirror, bidet, bathtub and shower . The kitchen is close to the bedroom and opening into a private garden it is fully equipped with gas-cooktop, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge, kitchen-sink, pottery, table and chairs. Furthermore there are two communicating double bedrooms, opening into the private garden. The first of these bedrooms is furnished with a queen bed (if necessary also a single bed and a crib), bedside tables, wardrobe, table, a little table with cable TV, and fridge, the second of these bedrooms is furnished with two single beds, bedside tables and wardrobe. Th fourth double bedroom, viewing into private garden, is equipped with a queensize bed (if necessary we can put two single beds instead of the queensize bed), bedside tables, large wardrobe and fridge. The second bathroom disposes of wc, two basins with cabinet and mirror, bidet and a shower. Another large kitchen equipped with table, chairs, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge, kitchen-sink, pottery and a washing-machine.

In front of the house there are 3 restaurants and 2 cafés. Nearby many other restaurants and cafés, a supermarket, bakeries, pastries, and every kind of shop (alimentary, fashion, shoes and so on); you can walk by feet or by bus all over the old city. The stops of the buses are few meters from the house. The stop of the intercity buses for the main cities of the Tuscany and of the other regions of Italy is about 500 meters.

Being in the heart of Siena, the house is ideal for people who want to plunge in the atmosphere of the historic city, of Palio (the characteristic horse race runned twice a year in Siena) and of Contrade, and to visit the main monuments and palaces of the city (Duomo, Baptistery, Piazza del Campo and municipal palace with Torre del Mangia, all the ancient palaces of Piazza del Campo, Palazzo Chigi-Saracini, seat of the prestigious Musical Academy, celebrated all over the world, Pinacoteque, S. Maria della Scala and Opera del Duomo Museums, Rinnovati and Rozzi Theaters.
