The newly built Villa Sa Cantera is situated in a rural yet easily accessible location between Algaida and San Gual, on a secluded plot in a marvellous rural setting. The entrance to the villa is surrounded by impressive flowering oleanders, which can also be found throughout the garden area and by the pool. Delicate, young palm trees and oaks spread across the well-tended garden plot, the centrepiece of which is the L-shaped pool. The azure blue pool with mosaic tiles has a wide and convenient step entrance. The pool is surrounded by a large natural stone area with a total of eight wooden loungers with soft cushions and four bamboo parasols. There is also an outdoor shower. To the side of the pool is a beautiful casita a stone house, which was also completely modernised in 2015 and is now a separate apartment from the main house. The villa property thus offers comfortable accommodation for a total of ten people (eight adults and two children). The casita has a natural stone sun terrace directly in front of the entrance. There is a covered terrace directly on the south-facing main house. There is also a modern dining table made of wood and aluminium where you can enjoy the BBQ prepared on the grill. Another highlight for all sports fans: the finca has a tennis court in the immediate vicinity. This belongs to the neighbour and can be used by guests on request.

You have a choice of two ways to enter the house from the cool, shady dining terrace. You can easily access the kitchen directly and take your meals outside. The second patio door leads into the dining area of the open-plan living room. The villa is flooded with light thanks to the white walls, light-coloured floor tiles and very clear shapes and lines. The furnishings in the living area, on the other hand, have an elegant, baroque character that conveys a certain playfulness. Dark wooden furniture, antique decorative items and unusual chairs made of fine dark wood come into their own in the sunny house. The small, but fine kitchen is located next to the open-plan living room and is separated by a sliding door. This room is also equipped with a fitted kitchen in dark wood, but looks extremely modern, perhaps due to the almost white stone worktop and stainless steel. The equipment offers all the convenience you could wish for, from the toaster and coffee machine to the large stainless steel fridge-freezer and dishwasher. A round table with designer bar stools offers space for your morning coffee, next to which is the second exit to the terrace. On the ground floor you will also find the first of a total of four bedrooms in the main house and a stylish bathroom. The second bathroom is located on the upper floor and is shared by the other three bedrooms. One of the bathrooms is fitted with modern natural stone tiles and has a shower, while the other has a bathtub with integrated shower function. The bedrooms are all very modern and have either a double bed (with an additional cot) or two single beds. As even the single beds are 105 cm wide, they offer perfect comfort for those sleeping alone. Speaking of comfort: each bedroom in the main house has air conditioning, a beautiful wardrobe with wooden sliding doors and its own LCD TV on the wall. The 30 m² annexe offers a cosy space for another couple with a 1.50 m bed and an integrated living area (also with a TV on the wall) and a high-quality en-suite bathroom with shower. The casita is also ideal if you are travelling with another generation who may sometimes want to be alone while the rest of the family stays with the children in the main house. In the stunning garden and the spacious terrace area around the pool, you have the inviting opportunity to spend pleasant hours together in the cosy Villa Sa Cantera.

If you would like to go on excursions, you have all the options nearby: Beach & sea, as well as culture & shopping are all within easy reach. With your hire car, you can easily reach the southern beaches such as Platja de Palma, Cuidad Jardin and the sunny bay of Cala Pi. Although the detached villa is situated in a rural location, it is not far from the main road that leads from the east coast to Palma and even to the San Gual golf course. This allows you to optimally combine different holiday interests. The nearest town, Algaida, is around 10 minutes away by car, where you can buy everyday necessities. On Fridays, it is worth visiting the colourful weekly market on Sa Plaza, which you can combine with a stroll or a delicious café cortado. If you are interested in culture and shopping, it is only 20 minutes to Palma with its beautiful cathedral. There is hardly any road noise in the rural villa, although there can be some aircraft noise depending on the wind. Last but not least, we would like to mention that the rental price of the villa is extremely attractive, especially for larger groups, even in high season, which is why we recommend the attractive Sa Cantera.

Sa Cantera is a newly built villa with a main house and guest house with plenty of rustic charm and a traditional touch in a beautiful, secluded rural location close to the town of Algaida. Algaida is only 10 minutes away for everyday shopping. You can enjoy shopping and culture in the island's capital Palma, which is only 20 minutes away by car. The beach and the sea are about the same distance away, as Platja de Palma or Cuidad Jardin are about the same distance away.
