25 km from Albi, on the plateau between Cordes-sur-Ciel and the Grésigne forest, detached gîte with pleasant enclosed garden. Peace and quiet guaranteed, ideal for exploring the Pays des Bastides.
The heights of Cordes-sur-Ciel, the Grésigne forest and the Gaillac vineyards can be seen from all four cardinal points. The gîte is situated on the Cordes plateau, at the crossroads of the various Bastides circuits, whose old stones have so many stories to tell you. The vineyards are always welcoming, and here you are in the oldest vineyard in France, the thousand-year-old vineyard of Gaillac with its seven wines. Dare to venture into the little villages with their white houses, and on the paths winding between the vines you'll meet winegrowers who are passionate about their craft.

** THE GITE **

Independent, single-storey gîte with 2000 m² enclosed garden, several terraces, garden furniture and barbecue.

Living room with :
- living room with sofa and tv. Internet with fibre,
- dining room,
- corner kitchen opening onto the dining room. Equipped with oven, dishwasher, microwave, Senseo® filter and pod coffee maker, kettle, toaster and two fridges in the dining room.

Sleeping area with corridor leading to :
- two bedrooms, each with a 140x190cm double bed,
- a shower room with shower and double washbasin,
- separate toilet.

The children's sleeping area is at the end of the corridor with the third bedroom, which has 2 single foldaway beds and a sofa bed for extra sleeping space if required. A shower room with shower, wc and washbasin opposite the children's bedroom.

Washing machine, books, board games. Utility room next to the kitchen with two griddles: one electric and one gas. Electric heating.

Two terraces: a covered west-facing terrace, accessible from the dining room, and a second east-facing terrace on the other side of the house with lovely uninterrupted views over the valley. Boules pitch next to the swimming pool with children's play area. Parking: either outside the gîte, along the road, or in front of the house.

SWIMMING POOL: pool area to be shared with holidaymakers from another rented house, 30 m from the gîte. Covered pool accessible via the garden and a gate. Dimensions: 4 x 8m with progressive bottom, open from 15 April to 15 October (weather permitting). WC and shower next to the pool, and summer kitchen with barbecue, microwave, coffee maker, fridge-freezer and sink.
