The house welcomes you on the ground floor through its kitchen/dining area, perfect for family meals and gatherings. Upstairs, an air-conditioned living area exudes a nostalgic 'Fifties' style and offers a relaxing space with vintage furniture.
Outside, the courtyard entices with its amenities—an outdoor cooking area with a barbecue and electric plancha for enjoyable alfresco dining. The courtyard has a pergola for shaded relaxation around the heated pool (6m x 3.5m, depth 1.45m), which offers an immersive bench.
Maussane is a typically Provençal village located at the foot of the Alpilles, in Provence. You can discover its old fountains and wash houses, stroll through its alleys, visit the museum of santons. Under the plane trees that border the village square, you can sit quietly listening to cicadas, admiring the works of artists who exhibit each Friday or visit the market on Thursday mornings. Taste the traditional cuisine made from the local products: tapenade, olive oil AOC of the Valley of Baux (2 mills still in operation), honey, jams, lamb of the Alpilles, goat cheeses, wines.
Ideally located between Avignon, Arles, the Camargue and the Pays d'Aix, Maussane les Alpilles is at the crossroads of the most beautiful tourist and cultural sites of the region.
Please note: The house is located amidst the lively village atmosphere, close to local shops and restaurants. While the courtyard remains relatively tranquil, and some bedrooms overlook it, other room do overlook the street. Parking is available nearby for unloading luggage, and the pool remains heated from April until the end of October.
