At Soursol, the expression haven of peace is not overused, we feel outside of time

The name La Soursol, somewhat enigmatic, certainly reveals the presence of water, a source on the property. It is a pretty farm, several hundred years old, located on the banks of the Tarn.

These old buildings, renovated inside and carefully decorated in the taste of the old, retain their walls made of red bricks and pebbles patiently dug from the bed of the Tarn. The henhouse, the woodshed, the Chapel, the old pigsties are organized around a shaded, grassy patio planted with magnificent trees. The arcades all around evoke the image of a cloister.
Leisure center 2km away, Aiguelèze (swimming, water sports, tennis, golf, fishing), the opportunity for a nice bike ride.

La Soursol, its patio, its large park, give you a feeling of serenity, in the heart of the Pays des Bastides, very close to the excitement of Albi, its famous Episcopal City, and the thousand-year-old vineyard of Gaillac.

** THE GITE **

Les Gîtes de La Soursol is a set of two gîtes to accommodate 10 people, organized in two different buildings, with a covered terrace and large garden at the front. The gîte accommodates 6 people in the old henhouse and 4 in the old pigsties, on either side of the cloister.
The owners live during the summer in the house next door, with independent access.

Very large garden where your children can run around and enjoy the games and the swing, beautiful covered terrace ideal in case of high heat or mixed weather to have meals outside with the charcoal barbecue.

** The Henhouse for 6 people:

150m² building with large living room with open kitchen, dining table, lounge area with TV and board games, and toilet on the ground floor.
Kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, kettle and multi-function food processor (chopper).
Upstairs: three bedrooms (two with 90cm bunk beds and a third bedroom with 140x190cm bed). Bathroom with bathtub and sink.

Le Poulailler can be rented alone (for 6 people), with reference G1055 on Gîtes de France.

** Les Porcheries for 4 people:

On one level, this 50m² building is located on the other side of the courtyard.
Small living room with dining area and armchairs in the kitchen. Kitchenette open to this space with oven, microwave, top fridge, small dishwasher, 2-burner stove, kettle and filter coffee maker.
Two bedrooms: one with a 140cm double bed and the second with two 90cm single beds.
Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and washing machine.

Electric heating or/and heating with wood stove (in Le Poulailler).

We would be very happy to welcome your family in a very specific and tipical former old farm beside the Tarn River.

The modernly renovated buildings are dispached around a former closter and these 2 different houses will permit to all the members of your familly to live separatly but to be able to gather when they like it !
