Villa Robur was very carefully planned and furnished to a high standard by Wietersheim Architekten from Berlin. It consists of a cozy old farmhouse that has been generously extended into a modern vacation villa (270 sqm). The property is beautifully situated in open countryside, surrounded by woods and olive groves (14,000 sqm). From the lavender terraces and the sporty, large saltwater pool (14m*4m) there is an unobstructed view of the forests and hills of the Mirna Valley.
Villa Robur can accommodate up to 8 guests in 3 en-suite bedrooms. The modern wall heating is used to cool the rooms in summer (heat exchanger with solar thermal energy). The saltwater pool is kept at a pleasant temperature using waste heat. The property has WiFi and offers parking for up to 4 cars and is located in Groznjan, the 'town of artists', which is situated on a hill overlooking the Mirna valley. There are over 30 galleries and painters' studios to visit in this small town. Numerous film and music festivals are organized there. One of the most famous music festivals is the international jazz festival 'Jazz is back'. You can discover the beautiful landscape on hiking and cycling tours. Taste the region's specialties in the typical konobas. Thanks to its central location, both quiet, idyllic hilltop towns and touristy coastal towns are within easy reach. Livade, the nearest town just 3 km away, is the center of the truffle trade in autumn and is a major attraction for gourmets. Don't miss the chance to take part in a truffle hunt! The old coastal towns of Novigrad and Umag (15 -20 min) offer every conceivable opportunity for sport. In addition, the highway is not far away, so coastal towns such as Porec and Rovinj are also within easy reach. In Pula, the capital of the region, you will find the enchanting Roman amphitheater, where you can attend many film events, but also cultural events and live concerts by world-famous artists.
