Its ideal location will allow you to visit and stroll through the historic streets of Carcassonne while taking advantage of the amenities that are in the immediate vicinity of the gite: grocery shop, tobacco press, restaurants, bars, all without taking the car! Less than 15 minutes away on foot, you can walk along the banks of the river Aude or on the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as in the historic bastide of St-Louis. Numerous events take place during the summer season (fireworks on 14 July, music festival of the Cité, Féria...). Swimming places to refresh yourself in summer are accessible by car or on foot for the more adventurous: the aqualudic space with slide, outdoor swimming pool and balneo or the natural place with the Lake of Cavayère (with a beautiful pedestrian or bike ride). Everything is done to spend an unforgettable holiday with family or friends through a stay of discovery while enjoying a comfortable and relaxing gite. The air-conditioned gîte is located on the first floor of a character building, and opens onto a spacious and pleasant living room with a lounge area equipped with a sofa bed (sleeping for 2 extra people), a connected TV, a dining table and a beautiful fully equipped kitchen with a Senseo coffee machine. The first bedroom is a luxurious master suite with a 160cm bed and a private en-suite shower room (shower, WC, washbasin). The other two bedrooms are equipped with 140cm bedding. For your greater comfort: a second independent bathroom with shower, double basin and WC. Sheets, towels, cleaning at the end of your stay and bathroom products (shower gel, soap and shampoo) are included. WIFI connection in the flat. The gîte also has a private laundry room with completely independent access from the living room. It is located on the ground floor with a washing machine. Public parking in the immediate vicinity or in the vicinity. Complete baby equipment on request.
