At the gateway to the Corbières, on the banks of the River Orbieu, discover the Appartement de Roses et de Vignes. The gîte is ideally placed for exploring the treasures of our beautiful Aude department. The village of Ferrals-les-Corbières is less than half an hour's drive from a number of must-see sites: Lagrasse, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, walks around the magnificent landscapes of the Corbières, the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean, Roman Narbonne and the medieval town of Carcassonne. There are plenty of local shops (grocery shops, restaurants) for you to use without taking the car. You'll also love the River Orbieu, a popular spot for swimming in the region (Ribaute et St-Laurent de la Cabrerisse), as well as fishing. There's also a private garden (10 minutes' walk from the gîte) where you can relax on a deckchair and read a book in the shade of the Midi sun. The gîte also has a private terrace adjoining the house where you can sip a cocktail or a glass of Corbières wine (in moderation!). For parking, you will have access to the garage for easy and safe parking. The gîte is an outbuilding of the owners' house on the 1st floor with completely independent access from the stairs. It opens onto a fully equipped kitchen and dining table. A lounge area with a single bed that doubles as a sofa for watching connected TV. A beautiful, spacious bedroom with a queen-size bed (160cm). A separate shower room with shower, washbasin and WC. Air-conditionning in the bedroom. WIFI connection. Baby equipment available on request. All-inclusive services (bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning). Pets are welcome (except cats for allergic reasons).
