This old fishing village is primarily well known its dunes. They are more lighter and wilder that those in the neighborhood. Walking and cycling through the dunes are still possible here. Blueberries still grow here and you can pick them while you walk in the open nature. The landscape is unique. Of course you can discover Egmond yourself. A day out in the old cities Alkmaar or Bergen is very special. Or to visit the Egmond Castle, the St. Adalbert's Abbey or the Huys Egmondt museum.
Breath of fresh air during a long walk, see the beautiful sunset out of the beach pavilions or have a dinner one of the restaurants which lay at the beach....lets go on holiday!
