Here, everything was empty. Only the walls and signatures on the stones remained in time. This old family farm has been completely renovated with taste and modernity. La Maison du Pouget offers all the comforts you need to spend a beautiful holiday in the countryside.
Want to fish without even taking the car? It’s possible! Only a few tens of meters below the house is a lake. Bathing is not allowed, but no restrictions for fishing. You are also at equal distance from Gaillac, Albi, Réalmont and Graulhet to discover a range of landscapes and activities and only 45 minutes from Toulouse (highway 6km).
You can taste the Gaillacois wine, visit the irreatable episcopal city (UNESCO World Heritage) and its cathedral, go to the royal bastide of Réalmont or stroll in some of the most beautiful villages of France in the vicinity (Strings on Sky, Lautrec, Monestiés are nearby).
THE GITE:
The old farmhouse has been completely modernized to become La Maison du Pouget; a house of independent character with private pool and without any vis-à-vis. Do not look for barriers to delimit the garden as only the fields of cultivation of an organic farmer in the distance will hold you back. A few tens of meters below the house, you can enjoy a lake where frogs enjoy singing in chorus at nightfall.
The outside of the house is equipped with a garden furniture, barbecue and plancha for your evenings grilling. The swimming pool measures 9x4m, its depth is 1.40 meters with a flat bottom: ideal for swimming with children (swimming pool secured by an alarm and cleaned every morning by the owner). A ping pong table, a game of molky, and petanque balls are waiting for you.
The House is equipped with underfloor heating and 3 reversible air conditioning (rooms) to welcome you throughout the year . You can leave your car under a covered shelter and charge your car thanks to the electric charging station provided for this purpose.
On the ground floor:
- A cocooning reading corner in the hall with board games and long novels.
- A 28m² kitchen/dining room with the necessary equipment to prepare good dishes (induction hob, oven, robot, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso vertuo coffee maker for pod lovers and classic filter coffee maker…).
- A 28m² living room with armchairs, sofa and 4K smart screen TV.
- An independent toilet

- Green room of 13m²: bed 140x200cm, desk and wardrobe
- Beige room of 25m²: bed in 180x200cm thanks to the two twin beds and a single bed in 90x200cm. Private bathroom with toilet (shower 120cm*80cm).
- Blue room of 13m²: bed 160x200cm, wardrobe, desk and beautiful view of the pool
- Bathroom with large shower (120*90), double wash basin and toilet.
