Hyères offers more than 20 km of coastline with very diverse beaches that can satisfy all tastes. On the coast of Hyères, there are paradisiacal beaches with golden and silver hues, made of fine sand or round pebbles, welcoming family or sports audiences, not to mention the nature lovers who can nestle in the small coves. The beach of Almanarre, located on the western tombolo of the peninsula of Giens, extends over 4 kms. It alternates, throughout the tombolo, white sand and small pebbles. The site is internationally known windsurfers, as one of the best windsurfing spots in the world. On the other side of the Tombolo, you will find, from the Bergerie to the Ayguade, beaches very well adapted for families, all are made of blond sand and the water is shallow. On the island of Porquerolles, the famous Argent beach, hemmed with eucalyptus and pines, is composed of fine white sand, whose silvery highlights have given it its name ... The beaches of Alycastre, Courtade and Langoustier are also very famous for their fine sand, and for a very clear water.
