Villa Zafiri is located in Nea Magnisia a traditional and picturesque village in the outskirts of Rethymno town, it is only 800 meters from the resort of Skaleta, a historical settlement, stretching on the shore of the Crete Island about 12 kilometres east of the of Rethymno port and 67 km west of Heraklion.
The European blue flag for clean beaches and sea water is awarded every year to Skaleta.
As you approach Villa Zafiri which is newly build and luxurious villa you will notice the olive trees and the peaceful surroundings before you find the parking area of the villa and right next to the parking you will find a door that opens leads you up to a ramp to the main entrance of the villa.
This ramp has been specially designed for wheel chair users.
Villa Zafiri is the centre of Crete and the guests can visit the following interesting sites:

About Skaleta
The small harbour of Skaleta, was in use during the second Byzantine period. Attractions include the churches of Zoodochou Pighis (live-giving spring) and St. Nicholas, as well as archaeological finds. Skaleta¢s large, sandy beach, is surrounded by low hills, from the top of which a visitor can enjoy spectacular views especially at sunset.
The beach is one of the last hatching places of the caretta-caretta turtle and the seal of monachus-monachus. The historical and mythological background of the area and the village of Skaleta as well as the beauty of the landscape make the resort attractive to visitors.

The living room has a sliding door that opens and leads to a large terrace from which you will be able enjoy the panoramic sea view and the view of the surrounding area. As you walk further you will find the swimming pool, sauna and the barbecue area.
