Veddinge Bakker is one of the largest hilly areas in Denmark, close to forest and beach, with steep slopes down to the bay of Sejerø. The area offers good opportunities for mountain biking, cycling, running and fishing. Also visit Dragsholm Castle, which offers fine gastronomy from the organic produce of the area and is said to have its own ghost. Sommerland Seeland, charming Rørvig, Nykøbing and the many galleries are also worth a visit. From Havnsø ferries go to the small islands of Sejerø and Nekselø.
