The ancient town of Rorvig located nearby, has an active harbour where you can buy fresh and smoked fish and also find fascinating shops as well as local restaurants with delicious cuisines. Also visit the charming pedestrian zone in Nykobing Zealand. This region also has several galleries and is just 15 minutes away by car from a golf course. The countryside of northwest Zealand is charming and is diverse, as various activities are available for the families. You can either undertake trips to the museum or play golf or tennis, or even take up fishing, as the coast offers various activities. The glacial landscape in Odsherred provides a feeling of being in a geological park. You can also find graves and tombs that date back to Stone Age and Bronze Age, located on the Grave Hill Street. Hempel Glass Museum is located in this region. A replica of the sun chariot found in the moors of Trundholm Moses is available in Odsherred Museum. Also take a look at the castle of Naesholm situated between the small island in Lake Nygaard between Hojby and Nykobing.
