Cottage 10 kilometers from the sea with sandy beaches and fishing. The beach stretches for several kilometers.

From Sövestad you can cycle on the bike path to Ystad and then further. The cottage is located near Ystad Zoo, where there is also a pool area, Tosselilla, Mossbylund with supermarket and a good restaurant, Ystad Saltsjöbad, Hammars Backar, Ale Stenar, Kåseberga with fish smoking room and cozy cafes.

For those who want to play golf, Ystad Golf Club in Nybrostrand, Tomelilla Golf Club or Abbekås Golf Club are nearby. You can take the bus from Sövestad to Ystad and then the train on to Simrishamn, Malmö and Copenhagen.

Near the cottage there are several castles, you can go by bike to Marsvinsholm Castle with theater and a cozy park with exhibitions, Snogeholm Castle and Krageholm Castle. In Snogeholm and Krageholm there are also lakes with good hiking trails and barbecue areas in several places. In Sövdesjön there is a nice child-friendly beach, a sauna boat that you can rent, Sövde Adventure Camp and Sövde cidery where you can buy local apple juice.

Please note that pets are only allowed on the first floor of the cottage.
