Imagine your next vacation in unspoiled nature with miles of trails, countless fishing lakes and rich fauna. In Bygland, where this vacation home is located, exactly that awaits you. The cottage has a good location with great views from the terrace, living room and kitchen. The large property is undisturbed and offers a beautiful panoramic view over this pretty part of Setesdal. The river Otra meanders down the valley and invites you to quiet fishing. A path leads past the cottage to a parking area; from there you can follow the miles of hiking trails through untouched, wildlife-rich nature and possibly see an elk, deer, roe deer or capercaillie crossing the path. You can also join guided tours by 6-wheeler in summer and snowmobile in winter. The cottage offers a view of the mountain Straumsfjellet, which is popular among mountaineers thanks to the Via Ferrata. In winter time you can reach Brokke Alpinsenter with downhill slopes and ski lifts after only 20 minutes by car.
