This vacation home in Sovramonte, 14 km from Feltre, in the Belluno Dolomites National Park, is dedicated to those who love the solitude and silence of the forest, but at the same time do not want to be too far from the main attractions, such as the cities of art (Belluno 55 km, Vicenza and Treviso 85 km, Venice 120 km) and Trentino with mountains and beautiful lakes. The house welcomes guests with the typical warmth of mountain cottages. In summer, the outdoor fireplace with barbecue becomes the main attraction of the house. On the beautiful lawn you can sunbathe while the children play. 5 km from the house is the ski area Croce d'Aune - Monte Avena, a family-friendly ski area, away from the most famous ski slopes of skiers. For those looking for variety, the "snow" offer is one of the most comprehensive and extends between the Dolomites of Veneto and Trentino: 40 km from the ski area of San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle; 70 km away (Falcade-San Pellegrino and the ski area Civetta). From the refuge you can make excursions on foot, either on quieter paths that cross the Sovramonte plateau or through more demanding routes, such as the Alta Via 2 of the Belluno Dolomites Park. For adventurers, the favorable air currents of Monte Avena are the ideal starting point for flights of paragliding or hang gliding. In the valley you can practice canyoning, and the nearby lakes (Corlo 20 km, Levico lake and Caldonazzo 60 km) , Calaita - lake 35 km and Santa Croce - lake (73 km) offer the possibility to practice water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, kite surfing. But they are also suitable for those who just want to relax, take a bath or explore the sea. The house is also an excellent starting point for historical-artistic itineraries that pass through cities rich in art (Venice, Feltre, Belluno, Bassano del Grappa, Mel, Treviso, Vicenza, Trento, Rovereto), charming historic villages. You can also explore the immense heritage of Venetian villas and the charm of Trentino's castles. Not to mention the rich food and wine offer of the region: in addition to the numerous restaurants and trattorias with traditional folk specialties, in summer the region offers a series of local fairs dedicated to local products. For beer lovers, in Pedavena (10 km) there is a historic brewery with a wide selection of beers, famous throughout Europe. In this vacation you can not miss a day trip dedicated to the beautiful hills of Valdobbiadene (45 km) or Breganze (60 km). This route runs among vines and cellars where you stop to taste a glass of Prosecco or Cartizze or Torcolato. An upstairs room has a wooden terrace from which you can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains and the deer that pass near the house in the morning. You can reach the house by a winding road: last 100 meters of dirt road.
