Enjoy a fantastic view of Tuno and Samso Islands from this holiday home, located very near to a magnificent, child-friendly, wide sandy beach. A ferry runs from this home (just 5 km) to these two islands everyday. A hiking trail runs around the small, car-free Tuno Island (three hour hike around this island). This hiking trail runs through forests, moors, meadows and a beach. This region is also home to rich flora and fauna. Bicycle rentals are available in the harbour of Tuno. Numerous activities like golf, bowling, tennis, beach aerobics and beach volleyball, horse riding, petanque, kayak rentals and outdoor swimming pools are offered in the town of Odder, located nearby. Enjoy the flourishing art in this region with numerous galleries, art workshops as well as painting lessons. Horsens, located half an hour away is an attractive town with the broadest pedestrian zone of northern Europe. It is also known as the City of Museums. Horsen Art Museum is situated in a beautiful park and is the largest and most wonderful museum of the country with high profile modern art of the 20th century. Århus in the north is the second largest city in the country and has a blend of medieval romanticism and modern features. There is a wonderful university, ARoS Art Museum with modern art of international fame. The functionalist town hall has been under monumental preservation for the last 50 years.
