Holiday Villa With Amazing Views & Large Private Pool

The Holiday Villa is a unique vacation home located on the island of Crete. Rithymna Mansion is a wonderful choice for a distinctive vacation stay. The property for rent is situated on the edge of the old traditional village of Prines, 350 meters above sea level, 3 km from the coast, and only 6 km from the center of the old town of Rethymno in Northern Crete.

The villa features a classic living room with antique pieces of furniture, lounge & dining area, Cretan themed paintings, and some other amenities such as satellite television and a portable stereo system. It leads to a veranda open to the Aegean Sea, with comfortable sitting furniture, which is exposed to the sea breezes and to stunning views of the sea, wooded hillside, the White Mountains and – most of all – the views of incredible sunsets! The library room contains more than one thousand books on philosophy, history, sociology, religion, education and literature can offer moments of quite reading.
The villa is also equipped with four bedrooms, two on the first floor and two on the ground floor which can easily accommodate up to eight individuals. The two floors are connected by a wide indoor staircase and an elevator, suitable for those who have difficulties when managing a staircase. There are two bathrooms and one WC shared between the bedrooms with only one bathroom en suite – located in the master bedroom – also including a walk-in closet. Each bedroom has unique sea views, private veranda or balcony, air conditioning unit, television, fully dressed comfortable beds and classic or antique type of furniture.
A fully equipped kitchen with – electric cooker, oven, microwave oven, refrigerator, freezer, dish washer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, grill, fruit blender, smoothing-iron – is connected to the breakfast room. The veranda attached to the kitchen is well placed for enjoying your morning coffee and dining outside. The utility room within the kitchen area offers the facility of a clothing washing machine, freezer and a second refrigerator. Coming outside of the kitchen veranda follows the barbecue area, shaded by mulberry trees and surrounded by bushes and flowers.

The family holiday villa Rithymna Mansion provides a really large private swimming pool within its premises. The 15m x 6m pool, with a depth ranging from 1.4m to 2.6m will make sure you enjoy your everyday swimming to the maximum. Adjacent to it there is an exterior shower and WC, along with sun beds and umbrellas.
The estate features suitable private parking, partially shaded by a roof or by olive trees, which can easily accommodate a few cars. Next to it, the fruit orchard with citrus fruit trees, apricot and olive trees give you the sense of the local nature and products.

What makes the family holiday villa Rithymna Mansion unique, is the ability to breath sea and mountain air, combined with stunning views over the sea, mountains and green foliage. The closeness and direct access to the historical town of Rethymno, with its long sandy beaches and vibrant night life, will ensure a holiday that you will never forget.

The village offers a variety of activities. There are areas suitable for safe cycling as well as areas suitable for hiking, such as paths leading to Vederi or the popular gorge of the region. The location of Prines is situated amphitheatrically, so there are many spots in the village from which you can enjoy an amazing view. It is certain that you will never forget the lush greenery, the incredible view of Vederi gorge and the sierra of Lefka Ori (White Mountains) and of course the unforgettable vast sea view from Rethymno to Akrotiri peninsula. Finally, the village provides three remarkable taverns, one café-bar and a mini-market, and a 5×5 football court.
