From Baveno, which is located in a charming panoramic position, you have the possibility to embark on the fantastic Borromean Islands - with its picturesque towns and gardens (900m quay). Absolutely worth a visit is Stesa, the "Queen of the Lake" (4 km). In 32 km, Madonna del Sasso is located on Orta Lake, a hermitage built on a rock between 1730 and 1748. Ideal location for excursions to the Monferrato and Langhe hills, UNESCO World Heritage Site (110km) with its excellent wines and white truffles. The antique Italian capital of Turin with its museums and palaces (143km).
