This simple and comfortable holiday home with pool is surrounded by olive groves in the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful interior of Andalusia with its picturesque villages, towns steeped in history and contrasting natural landscapes.
The private, fenced plot, from which you have beautiful views of the hills and olive groves, lies undisturbed in the midst of nature and has a fabulous pool with jacuzzi, a sun terrace with sun loungers and a barbecue area next to it. In front of the house there is another terrace with garden furniture where you can enjoy relaxed al fresco meals with your loved ones. The interior is modern and functional. The holiday home, which is self-sufficient in solar energy thanks to its own solar panels, has a large, cosy dining and living area with a fireplace, an open, well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with two single beds each and a bathroom with a shower. The house is heated by a pellet-fuelled radiator. The first bag of pellets is free of charge, all further bags cost extra.
This holiday home is not far from the villages of Rute and Lucena, where you will find all kinds of services, shops and restaurants. Rute is known for its carnival and Christmas cakes; Lucena for its furniture manufacturing, olive products and as the pearl of Sefarad for its Sephardic-Jewish past. Just 8 km from the house is the reservoir of Iznájar, where you can practise various water sports; and 59 km away is the town of Antequera with its dolmens, Moorish castle and many Catholic convents and churches. Córdoba, where the important and beautiful Mezquita is located, is 78 km away; Granada, with its unique and world-famous Alhambra, is 115 km away. The day trips to these three cities are definitely worthwhile and will give you an unforgettable insight into Andalusian history and culture. In the Sierras Subbéticas Nature Park, which was declared a UNESCO Geopark in 2006, hiking and nature lovers will get their money's worth.
