A typical Valais vacation village with charm and hospitality warmly welcomes you here! Relax in the airy height of 1200 meters above sea level and just enjoy yourself. Here, in this vacation apartment for four people, you can direct your gaze into the dreamlike surroundings on the terrace. Marvel at the many mountains around you that are over four thousand meters high and also direct your eyes downwards. There the Rhone meanders leisurely through the valley and fascinates with its frequently changing water color. And how do you get from the deep valley up the high hill? No problem: the roads there are well maintained all year round and you can shift from second to third gear with your car at any time.

Summer

The actual hiking area around Veysonnaz extends in a southerly direction to the Valais high Alps. If you walk on Veysonnaz? about 300km long hiking area, you will enjoy pure nature. You will also be able to encounter many freely grazing cows. These are harmless, no cattle will attack you, but rather let you pet them. A large area of Veysonnaz's surroundings is protected thanks to intact flora, fauna and meadows. Pulling out silver thistles or gentians as souvenirs is not appreciated.......

But tours in the high mountains are also possible. The "Bisse-de-Vex" for example, a 12km long Suone (water conduit) from the 15th century, has been elaborately restored. Without having to overcome great differences in altitude and with mostly fantastic views, you can hike high above Veysonnaz along such Suonen.

Winter

As soon as snow falls in winter, Veysonnaz becomes a winter sports paradise. It is part of the ski area of the "Four Valleys" ("Quatre-Vallées") with about 400km of perfectly groomed slopes. On the "Piste-de-l'Ours", above Veysonnaz, many ski world cup races are held. A spectacle beyond compare for the spectators! The huge ski arena of the "Quattre-Vallées" stretches from Veysonnaz and the adjacent ?les-Collons-Thyon-2000? over Nendaz, the Mont-Fort (3330m) to Verbier and La Tzoumaz. No less than 410km of pistes for all levels (from beginner to professional) offer to feel the pressure of your boards for once. 95 lifts will make sure that you will be catapulted back up to the heights after a speedy run down to the valley.

    “Fantastische ligging, vrij en riant uitzicht over het Rhone dal. Het is een degelijk appartement, praktisch voor honden door de plavuizen vloer. Ligging op de b.g.g. betekent in dit geval 2 liften naar beneden. De tuindeur geeft toegang tot een gemeenschappelijk tuintje. De honden kunnen dus naar de buren lopen. De inrichting is praktisch en redelijk compleet. Toen wij het appartement betrokken waren er 7 lampen kapot, die werden na melding snel gerepareerd. Het appartement had schoner gekund, misschien een gevolg van de vorige huurders die misschien gekozen hadden voor zelf schoonmaak, maar dat is een slechte keus, omdat er alleen een weigerende stofzuiger aanwezig is. Maar indeling en uitzicht maken dit een fantastische appartement voor 4 personen. Het bevat 2 slaapkamers met goede bedden. De 5e en 6e persoon moeten in het stapelbed in de gang.”
