Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava is one of the most sought-after vacation destinations in Spain. Many of the beaches are awarded with the ?Blue Flag?, which is awarded for the excellent water quality, environmental requirements for the surrounding nature, clean beaches and services. The beaches are located in the typical bays of the Costa Brava, surrounded by cliffs that drop steeply to the sea and beautiful pine forests that characterize the charm of this landscape. Lloret de Mar offers a wide range of activities for the whole family, such as cycling tours, diving center, water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, banana boating or even the possibility of Nordic walking and mountain biking. The region is famous for its good wines and Mediterranean cuisine. All night owls come here of course also at their expense, because the many beach bars, clubs and discos provide party mood. In the Gran Casino everyone can try his luck. Only about 40 min. from Figueras, Dalí's hometown, where the museum of the same name is located. About 1 hour from the big city of Barcelona; which is ideal for a day trip with its countless sights and about 1.5 hours drive from the famous theme park Port Aventura.
