Holiday house with a garden near the Kellerwald

The house is a semi-detached bungalow on a quiet cul-de-sac where you can’t turn, surrounded by an idyllic landscape of green forests and lush meadows.

The ground-level holiday house has a garden with a terrace for your own exclusive use. Families with pets should note that the outdoor area is not fully enclosed. The furnished south-facing terrace invites you to sit and relax together. It has seating, a table, a parasol and a sun lounger. A charcoal grill can also be provided. You can park your car on the private outdoor parking space.

The family-friendly holiday accommodation has heating throughout and provides around 70m² of living space. It comprises a generous living and dining room with a fully-equipped built-in kitchen and a pellet stove, three bedrooms, a shower room, a guest toilet and a hallway. All three bedrooms are furnished with two single beds 90cm wide. In two of the bedrooms the beds are next to each other. A highchair can be used free of charge and a travel cot (60 x 120cm) for a small fee, to be booked in addition. Please note that you need to bring your own bed linen, blanket and pillow for the travel cot.

Your holiday town Frankenau has a choice of shops within about a 20-minute walk or 5 minutes by car. There is a baker who can even deliver rolls to your doorstep, as well as a butcher, a little supermarket and two restaurants. It is about 900 metres to the Kellerwald for hiking and cycling in Sauerland nature. It is recommended to go on a trip to Edersee with a viewing platform, with an animal park and a climbing park nearby. Families with children also enjoy visiting the summer toboggan run and the labyrinth at Edersee. If you go a couple of kilometres further, in Bestwig about 60km away there is a large leisure park with indoor and outdoor attractions. Towns in the region especially worth seeing are Bad Wildungen, Willingen, Korbach, Frankenberg and Kassel.

Wireless Internet access is available for the duration of your stay. Pellets can be purchased on site for a fee (see additional costs for firewood).

    “Sehr gemütlich. Ruhig und sauber. Wir waren mit mehreren Kindern dort und es hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Auch der Vermieter war sehr nett. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.”

    “aber ansonsten alles gut Positiv: das hunde mit durften ,wlan da war , netflix schauen konnte Negativ: das man am haus zwar parken kann aber wenn das haus davor auch belegt ist man nicht raus kann mit dem auto ,weil der weg zu eng ist und man wenn man vorwärts rein fährt man dann rückwärts raus fahren muss Restaurant: Foodtruck beim minilädchen - sehr lecker und gute portionen”

    “Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Ferienhaus liegt am Rand des Feriendorfes. Von dort aus gibt es viele verschiedene Wandermöglichkeiten.

    Für Hundebesitzer war alles optimal. Wiese rund ums Haus, viele Wandermöglichkeiten. Keine Abnutzungserscheinungen oder Gebrauchsspuren von vorherigen Mietern mit Hunden.

    Der PKW-Stellplatz war direkt vor dem Haus. Auch die Matratzen waren sehr gut, nicht durchgelegen!”
