On the large terrace with whirlpool you can relax after eventful excursions to the highlights of the island. Your temporary home itself consists of a house with a cozy living room, an open kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom and a small outbuilding with a double bed and a separate toilet.

Activities nearby: There are many different things to do during your day in Akureyri. How about a whale watching tour? With a bit of luck you might see humpback or minke whales - so don't forget your camera! If you want to improve your handicap you can play golf for a few hours at the golf course Yes & eth; arsv & ouml; llur. You also have a perfect starting point for unforgettable day trips to the north of Iceland. Just 46 km away is the famous Go & eth; afoss waterfall, where you can be amazed at the sight of huge, cascading amounts of water. Then drive straight to the beautiful region of M & yacute; vatn; Iceland's largest nature reserve with an inland waterway crisscrossed with lava debris
