The "Alpenhaus Hubert" holiday home is located in the certified, family-friendly community of Niedernsill / near Zell am See / Kaprun. Many family and child-friendly excursion options and activities in both summer and winter are right on the doorstep. A large leisure area with an excellent playground, tennis facilities, mini golf course, soccer fields and beach volleyball court, ball playgrounds (ice rink in winter) and skate park is located directly on the beautiful Niedernsiller bathing lake (with baby and non-swimmer area), a 10-minute walk from your holiday home. Your holiday home offers you a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, but is located in the valley in the village and is therefore always easily accessible (no snow chains necessary in winter). In 5 minutes you can walk to the village center with cafe, bakery (also open on public holidays including breakfast service), music pavilion and the beautiful Romanesque church. There are also many excellent, family-friendly restaurants and inns nearby and are within easy walking distance. For the daily need for groceries (including organic products from the region) as well as everyday items, our local suppliers (Sparmarkt and Nah und Frisch) are available in the village and are within walking distance. In winter, snow-covered ski lifts for children and beginners (Bärenbach and Kerschbaum lifts) invite you to go skiing. The surrounding area is home to the largest and most beautiful ski areas in Austria, Zell am See / Kaprun, Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, as well as Kitzbüehl and Saalbach / Hinterglemm (reachable every 15 minutes to an hour by car), all of which are fully equipped with the most modern lifts and railways that bring summer and winter, hiking and mountain enthusiasts to lofty heights. Also for bad weather programs is always in advance. The Tauern Spa Kaprun or the Therme Gastein invite you to relax and splash around even on bad weather days. For mountain, animal and fauna enthusiasts, the Mittersill National Park Center offers a wonderful and child-friendly excursion option even on bad weather days. The zoo Ferleiten (20 minutes by car) invites you to go on a day trip with many different animals from our mountains and valleys, a petting zoo and a huge playground. Of course, there are also many guided hikes and excursions in our entire national park region "Hohe Tauern ", you can get information and advice at any time in our tourist office in Niedernsill (in the middle of the village) or ask your accommodation provider Elke Nachtmann. There is also a folder in your holiday home that contains everything you need to know, hiking and ski maps of the region and lots of tips for excursions and activities.
